Deadline for confirming registration and payment: November 25th
The detailled program will be communicated before the end of November.
If you have registered without submitting an abstract, you are on a waiting list and we will be in touch soon.
Note that the workshop will start Monday February 2ndafter lunch.
Some lab visits will be organized at CEA and CNRS Grenoble on Friday 6th (more information to come).
Hybrid devices based on superconducting and semiconducting materials are attracting increasing interest in the field of quantum circuits, due to their potential to replace more conventional tunnel Josephson junction-based components. One of their main advantages lies in the ability to tune the junction parameters via an electrostatic gate.Recently, significant results have been achieved, both in fundamental research (Josephson diode effect, chiral superconducting current) and in quantum applications (Josephson amplifiers based on graphene or two-dimensional electron gases, gate-tunable superconducting qubits). The goal of this workshop is to bring together international experts in hybrid devices, recognized for their scientific contributions and pedagogical quality, to present their findings in a way that is accessible to the scientific community.
Three main topics will be covered:
Growth and development of materials
Quantum devices and their properties
Theoretical descriptions of materials and devices.
The workshop is open to students, early-career researchers, and scientists from the broader community. Accommodation will be covered as part of the registration fees, and a half-day visit to laboratories in Grenoble will be organized.
